We often are asked “What is the difference between paint and ceramic coatings?” 
The difference is largely that standard acrylic paint is more decorative than it is protective.  Ceramic coatings on the other hand, are applied for their protective, temperature resistant and waterproofing qualities with the added benefit of tinting to almost any colour.
We use a range of high performance coatings. Envirocoatings we recommend for exterior coverage. Temp-Coat on the other had is thicker and is meant more as insulation so it is recommended for interior basements or pipe insulation coverage. We recommend Devoe Epoxies for hard, durable concrete floor coatings. We use ML Campbell lacquer sealers and lacquer finishes for high grade wood surfaces.


This is a list of proven products we use:

Insulcoat – Walls (ceramic)
These are Exterior high performance architectural coatings.  They are strong 100% solids acrylic coatings.  They can be applied in any colour to concrete, stucco, masonry, primed wood, primed vinyl, and primed metal and most standard substrates.

Insulcoat – Roof (ceramic)
A strong thermal barrier coating that also protects against UV rays. It can be applied in any lighter colour over membranes, asphalt shingles, torch-on, or metal roofs. (Galvanized metals require appropriate primer). It is a heat management product providing reduced penetration into interior spaces. (Test patches are recommended).

TEMP-COAT 101 is a general purpose insulation which comes in liquid form. This industrial designed liquid acrylic latex ceramic insulation performs extremely well on piping, air and heat duct work, exposed water pipes, tanks, oxygen lines, steam lines, refrigeration equipment, cryogenics, and condensation control. This amazing product has many other uses. It physically adheres to the surfaces it insulates between -80ºF (-66.2 C) and +350º F (176.7 C). The product will work on surfaces as hot as
500º F (260 C). We reccomend the use of this product on basement walls and floors under wall structure and flooring. TEMP-COAT® offers a warranty for specific uses of the product for industrial, commercial and home use.

These are Ultra hard epoxy industrial coatings used for high traffic areas. There are all grades of industrial application from food industries to chemical industries. Our main application of Devoe Epoxy is for concrete floors.

Lacquer Finishes
we use spray application Lacquers for most stained wood projects including: staircases, cabinets, furniture, and mantles.
